I'm fairly new here and credit this website for just about everything I know about pe. Thanks for all the helpful info. For those of you who are no longer taking bp meds., what kind of bp readings were you getting just prior to getting off the meds.? I'm starting to get readings of 105/65 and am hoping to get off the meds soon.

Good question; I'd be interested to know, too. I'm going in for a blood pressure check next week to see if I can come off my meds.
Fingers crossed for both of us!

If I remember correctly, my instructions were to stop taking them when I felt dizzy or if my blood pressure dropped below 110/70. That was/is my baseline anyhow. I didn't ever get that low, I was making 130/80 on meds with trace protein at 6 weeks. I still got to come off my meds though. I stopped them for three days and my bp stayed at that level. I was still spilling protein and the nephrologist said that he thought my bp would come down further on its own once that cleared up. It did. So I'm thinking that you are well in the zone for getting rid of those meds. I felt like a little old lady filling my prescription.....[xx(]
