Moving to CO soon

Hey ladies,

I wanted to post here bc we will be moving to your state in a few weeks. We are headed to Steamboat Springs. Anyone near there? It is going to be a big change for us.....mostly bc of the snow. I have never lived in snow. wow! also we will be away from family. not very excited about that of course! just wanted to start to know you guys

Wow!! Cool!! I am no that close to Steamboat, but I love it there!! I lived in Breckenridge for 5 years and it was fun. I think you will love it!! We will defenitley have to get together when you come out!!!!

I live in Colorado Springs, which is front range (read: not much snow at all!) and quite a ways away. But a get together some time would be great fun.

You're going to have a great time in Steamboat! What a great place to live. Is it a job or just the "want to" that brings you there?

Thanks guys! We are looking forward to it! We are moving because of a job my husband has accepted. He will be pastor to youth at one of the churches there. It sounds like you guys have great get togethers so i would love to be in on one sometime! Thanks for the welcome.

Hey Jess, now I am curious, where DO you attend church?

Cool that you're on the worship team. Fun! I only do nursery. DH says I can sing and would love me up there, but that stage stuff is just NOT for me!

hey guys,

that would be fun to visit and have you visit as well! i love contemporary worship music! thankfully the church where we are headed does have great worship....as far as music goes....i am on our praise team here but don't know if i will continue once we move...may take time to settle first and check it out.

it is a beautiful area that is for sure!

We attend the Church of the Holy Comforter (Episcopal). We just started a contemporary service in August, it's the 11:30 service. We have a full band (Drummer, bongo/percussion, keyboards, bass, two guitar players). You are welcome to come check us out anytime! It's a really fun group and we're finally getting to the point where I'm actually really proud to share the music! : )

I bet you can sing, Becky, just because you have a great speaking voice! : )

hey all,

Boy, you guys are have really got it together.i love that! we will be moving from tn....what a big change! we will be arriving sometime the second week of march. it will take me some time to get my bearings but once i am a pro in my environment i would love to travel to see you all!
