Update on Kelly

Hi, just got back from the doc and Kelly had 4 shots, I knew it was coming, it was just so heartbreaking. She is up to 12lb 8 oz!!!! and 23 " long. She smiles and coos, and loves the baby einstien videos.

Big brothers are doing so much better with her. Less behavior problems and they get so exited when she smiles for them. She is gonna be so spoiled being daddys little girl and protected by 2 big bubbies. After 2 boys, I just love to dress her up in frills and pinks.

It is so nice to hear about everyones babies! I want more frequent updates!!! Here is some pics from our vacation on the walmart website.

you link still didnt work for me.... I tried both of them... I love hearing all the updates too.... hard to believe all the babies born from june 30 till about the middle of july are so big now.....

glad to hear she is doing good. I know what you mean about shots.. I hated it when Wyatt got his too.

I've heard that if you can get them to start nursing first, baby endorphins kick in and the shots don't hurt as much. Has anyone tried this, or is it just one of those old wives' tales meant to make new moms feel better?

Hi All!!

Well, Kelly got her first bug. I felt like I was doing everything I could to prevent it, nursing, staying out of daycare, but the fact that she has 2 older brothers that want to kiss her all the time doesnt help. She has a double ear infection, and some crackles in her lungs and a little wheezing. She is on Antibiotics and neb treatments. I am so sad because she is so young to have all of this going on. You wouldnt know she was sick by looking at her though. She is still smiling and happy, no fever, just a little runny nose and she has coughing spells through the day. It certainly hasnt stopped her from eating though. She weighed in at a whopping 13 pounds 12 oz. Her baptism is on Sunday so I hope she is all better by then.
I have been feeling pretty good, (when I get sleep:/) I started taking violin lessons, and I am really enjoying them. Someday I want to play country or bluegrass fiddle. My dad made me a violin for my birthday, so I figured I should learn to play it. I am making him a website now for his violins and violas, when I get it going, I will post the link. I am so proud of him.

Wow, Jennie, that is such a cool gift! It must be special for you! And very cool that you will be able to play it.

I am so sorry that Kelly is sick. Poor thing! You just feel so bad for them when they can't breath well. Are you getting any sleep?

It is so fun to hear the updates! Kelly sounds like such an easy going kid. You hear about babies like that but, you don't see them very often. [:p]

Well, Kelly has another ear infection!!! They only symptoms she has is runny nose and a slight cough, and the doc said she had a pretty nasty double ear infection. So, back on the antibiotics again.
She weighed in at a whopping 16 lbs and 8 oz. She is really holding her head up good, and getting ready to roll over. I need to get some new pics on our website, I will post a link when I do.
