Little Christian Edward was born Saturday May 7th at 8:56pm weighing in at 6lbs 12oz and 19" long. All members of the family are happy and healthy. They started with Cervadil on Friday night to which my body replied, "Ain't happenin'". LOL Then I got two doses of citatek the next day and that kick started labor. My body took off and no need for pitocin, it was GREAT! Then, I got to experience my water breaking on it's own for the first time, I know that may sound weird to some and I like to crochet but don't like the hook turned on the owner! I asked for the shot of nubain and realized the shot was wearing off quickly, so I called in the Epi guy. Anesthesiology got there, put in the epi, and when he left, the door had not even shut when my doctor and his resident walked in. They checked me and said, are you ready to push? I laughed and was like, but I'm not fully numb yet! lol SOoooo... in a short amount of time, I had 5 contractions and he was out without problem. My last BP before I left the hospital, 108/62 and that was two days off meds! YIPPEEEEE

Now, HELP!?!?!?!?!? How do I get along during the day with an 18 month old, a 4 day old and get a hubby off to work and a daughter off to school seeing there are now 5 of us. WOW .. Now the fun begins.

Thank you all for the love and help to get through this pregnancy. Pray works! Seems like I've been preggo forever but that's only because I went further than I had ever expected. Gotta run, am needed in the next room but thought I would update!

I know what you mean about having your hands full.. Given my DH is working but he is gone in the mornings before kids get up. My newest is 2 1/2 mo now and I have a 22mo old (both boys) and a DD almost 6 (to get up for school) Plus my neighbor's DD stays here in the mornings to get on the bus. It gets very interesting to say the least...

During the day with just me and the 2 boys, it gets tough some days. Especially when Wyatt is not feeling well and wants to be held all day. Good Luck with your precious new boy and your two girls!!!

I've loved reading your story here from time to time. What an excellent, wonderful ending - Beginning!!! You've got your hands full - don't underestimate the help of the older ones (and DH) to fetch diapers and bottles and make pbj's once in awhile. Can't wait to see pics if you'd like to share!!

I have pictures but unsure how to share them seeing we do not have a website or anything. I will think of a way. :-) He's a cutie! But then again I am biased and worked hard to have him.

Today is first day on my own with just the two as Grandma and Grandpa still have my oldest till Friday for a few days of pampering. Hubby is working from 7:00am - 12:30am. ALL DAY! 16 hours of overtime! We need the help though so I cannot complain he is willing to work it but he did call and ask if it was ok first. He's a good papa!
