Did anyone see the ER episode?

This past Thursday the episode on ER focused totally on the NICU. It was good, but it seemed like the youngest preemie was a 35 weeker. I was hoping for a preeclamptic mom or at least a preemie that was smaller. It was still pretty interesting though...

I started to watch the show but as soon as I saw that they were heading to the NICU I had to switch it.

I watched and was also disappointed in the "big" babies. But, It hit home that even if we had/have "normal" pregnancies, anything can happen. Did anyone watch "Houston Medical" on discovery health last night? They featured real NICU crises - what a tear jerker.

I saw it, too (never miss an episode). Some people root for football teams or swashbuckling heroes on TV, but I root for little preemies. Except for the little girl, those babies were HUGE! A couple months ago they had a true preemie (not a real baby, but the size was about right). He was just over 500 grams, so they fought to save him even though the mother didn't want them to. They ended the show without saying what happened to him![}:)]

I watched it! I remember being kicked out of the NICU during "doctor rounds". Parents were not allowed to participate in deciding what to do with your baby.

That part always frustrated me, not knowing what was happening.

I meant to watch it but fell asleep[:(] I have to catch some z's when I can, DS still gets up 3x a night.

I can't get enough of those preemie shows but can't watch the shows like a baby storie on TLC yet.
