Ultrasound

I had my ultrasound appointment yesterday. It went really well. I was nervous because we had found out Chloe was sick from our first ultrasound... but thankfully everything looks GREAT! The baby was actually moving a bit. Such a little peanut. The heartbeat was strong at 160 beats per minute. I am only 9 weeks along. My morning sickness has been so bad this time. I am looking forward to the first trimester ending so that this may let up. My blood pressure continues to be in a fine place and no meds needed yet! All my blood work came back normal as well.
We are happy and so thankful for everything thus far.

Hi Suzy- I'm so glad to hear baby's scan was good! That must be such a relief.

Morning sickness[xx(] I'll keep my fingers crossed that it lets up- and if it doesn't- plain ole' garden variety Unisom really helped me[;)] not necessarily for sleeping, but for the nausea. Come to think of it, antihistamines always did help with mine. I wonder why?

Keep up the good work growing that baby! Now the next big question is going to be boy or girl... do you guys find out the gender? I can't wait to find out!

I have been using the Unisom and B6 together. It helps some, but the awful nausea just lurks... ready to consume me UGGGHHHH!!!!! I know it won't last forever, but it just plain sucks.
Yes, we always find out the gender of our babes. We will have another ultrasound in about 9 - 10 weeks. I am looking forward to that one and then you can all help me out with names.
Glad to see you here again - I'm sure you were taking a needed break over the holidays.

That is awesome news, Suzanna! How exciting! And yes-morning sickness does suck! I am so sorry. One more thing to blame your husband for [;)].

Hey suze- hang in there, the am sickness will pass! And at the end you get a baby out of it. Tried lemon? (Just kidding- nobody slap me, please! [:D]) I guess it's easy to joke when I'm not the one feeling brackish.

It feels good to post, thanks for noticing- December was a rough month for me. My gram died at the beginning of the month, my two nephews and niece came up mid-month for Christmas, and just left a couple of days ago. We were just too busy, ykwim? It feels good to be free to sit with a cup of coffee and tool around on the computer again. I feel more like me again. (which is good, I think?)

You might want to try Meclizine, instead of Unisom for the nausea. It is Dramamine's Less Drowsy formula, and you have to look for Meclizine. It really helps to curb the nausea, and is just as safe as Unisom. B6 actually made me sicker!

Hey Suz, I am so glad the u/s went well[:)]!! I can't wait to find out what oyur having..My vibe is a baby girl!! Have you thought of any names? I love the name game....So sorry about the morning sickness...it's a bummer. Do you have an appetite? I found eating some crackers right when I got up helped even though I felt like not eating at all!!

Mada my dear -

I have been dog sick no matter what I have been doing. It has been that lurking OH NO IM GONNA PUKE - but you never do feeling. But today I awoke and I haven't felt yucky yet! Maybe I'm out of the woods. I have been taking Unisom at night and that helps a lot. As far as gender ... pink is my longing. I actually love the name Laura (one of my best friends name is Laura) So that is top of the list right now. I'm sure altuiq would be tickled LOL. Laura Elizabeth.. Do you like it? I also love Caleb for a boy... but DH hates it.
Oh well. I suppose it will be easier once we find out the gender later in pregnancy.
Anyone up for playing the name game - or is it played out???
