We got an invitation from the funeral home for a special ceremony for those who have lost loved ones this year.

We got one of those, too. I don't think I'm going to attend, tho. I'll be fine this year, I think. We lost Erik on Dec 20, last year, so last Christmas was hard. I'm not a big support group person, either, so I don't know if it would do much for me. I remember him all the time. If my DH wants to go, I will.

We have been keeping busy with planning Katlyne's first birthday. (Some think we are plan crazy to celebrate the day) We have enlisted our family and friends to donate Lulliby CD's and Cassette's to the NICU where Katlyne spent her live. We also wrote to many many companies for donations of anything for the parents (Food,target etc) The only company that helped us with our quest was the beanie baby company. They have donated over 100 beanie babies in Katlyne's name. A birthday cake and balloon release in on tap for the day.

After the hospital party we are going to the funeral home party. (Also on Kat's Birthday)for their memorial services.
