hmmm If I did come its about 400 mile dirve and my hubby wouldn't be comeing he has 2 weeks off just before that. SO I don't think I'd be able to make it. But maybe they should webcast the conference or something along those lines.

Just wanted to find out if anyone could attend, what the costs were and what was being presented on what days...my son was born 6 weeks early due to HELLP. My husband and I would like to have another child but would like more information.

I would like to come also. I have to know more about the finances and see about getting time off of work. I think it is only like an 8 hour drive or so from DC.

2nd Annual Conference: “Beyond Preeclampsia: Our Health, Our Lives”, August 10-12, 2005, Oglebay Resort & Conference Center in Wheeling, West Virginia.

The conference will offer preeclampsia survivors an opportunity to meet others similarly affected, to learn from medical experts about the ongoing health challenges associated with the disorder, and to discover ways to make a difference in the lives of the 200,000 women affected each year by preeclampsia. Organizational training, roundtables, and personal healing will also be focuses of the three-day conference. A concurrent children’s program will be offered to allow adults to fully participate in the meeting sessions.

Conference organizers invite all those affected by preeclampsia to register through the main webpage (www.preeclampsia). Laura or Ileana will place a link here as soon as it is ready--or you can register by calling (800) 665-9341.

Registration fee is $100 per participant, $55 per each additional adult participant, children $60 (includes a kids zoo camp program and childcare for kids 4+), childcare for younger children available upon request at a separate rate. The resort is holding (single and double occupancy) for us at a rate of $105 per night. If you are willing to share a room with a forum buddy--you can split that cost.

Registration includes Wednesday night dinner and program, Thursdays dinner and day program (no host breakfast and lunch) and Friday program.

Do you have an idea on which day will be GC training?... I can most likely do a day trip but can't get away for three days.

Any thoughts on which day would be the best day to attend

I am planning on attending, not sure if dh will go or not ~ I think not...but I"m researching flights and rental car. Can someone tell me (a) what time does the program begin on Wed. night and (b) what time does it end on Friday..just a round about time will be fine.

Also, if ANYONE would like to room with me who is going by themself, let me know..even if it is only one night..I'm a good roommate :-) Like I said, still working out the details and have to speak with dh too. Guess this will be my Mother's Day gift I didn't buy myself yet :-)
