peri's-need one

Hi![:D] I would like to know if anyone knows of any great high risk peri's in the northern NJ area. I am thinking of going for #3, but have had chronic hbp for the last two years(under control). Your input is greatly appreciated!![:)] Thanks, Gio

Hi Gio,

I think it's the Foundation policy to not recommend any specific peri's for liability purposes, so even if anyone will recommend a doctor, it will be deleted from the Forum message.

However, I live in NJ too and I find it very hard to find one as well. I know of a few good ones, but they are really busy and not willing to see you unless you are pregnant and high risk...

We should get together and start a NJ chapter, and then we can share doctor names without involving the Foundation.

Ileana's right.. we can't mention docs by name here BUT perinatologists that specialize in hypertensive pregnancies are available at http://www.nasshp.org and garden variety peris are available at http://www.smfm.org

Also, if someone's reading this thread that has had a fabulous doc they'd like to recommend to you, they can email you by clicking on your user name, and sending a message from your profile on here.

If you DO start a local state chapter, you guys can start a list of docs that your chapter members have had that they think are great and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

If Alaska had more members registered than just me and akemt (Catherine) that's what we'd be doing.[:D]
