Well, I too have an appt for prepg consult, this friday. here are the questions I am asking:
1. Is it okay that I try this again?
2. What are my chances of long bedrest again?
3. Is there a higher chance of PE this time because of so many issues during pg and after?
4. What should I be doing now to make my chances better for the pg?
5. Are there any medications or supplements I should be taking?
6. Should I lose weight and how much?
7. How should I change my diet?
8. What tests do I need to have to find a reason for all the pg problems?
9. Is there anything my dh can do to help things?
10. When do I come in for my first peri appt once pg?

Hope this helps!!
take care,

Elizabeth

Great questions Elizabeth.... my first visit... sort of went with "what will you do if it happens again.........gulp"! However, I was already pregnant.

Good luck Kim, I hope he sings a song you'll like to hear!

I would bring a copy of my medical records to him/her so they can review your history. There might be info in your records that you're unaware of.

Great Questions Elizabeth... I would also add copy of medical records. Ask about starting vit's with extra folic acid (I was put on Floguard 2.2).

Care plans are very important.

Baseline labs & urine (24 hour urine)

On Call policies etc...

It's most important to feel comfie with your peri as you will be seeing him/her alot.

Good Luck with your appt...

Hugs

Thanks everyone, I have printed out the list of questions that you gave me Elizabeth, and yes I have my records from Shelbys pregnancy, this pregnacy will be with a different father, so that is a big concern for me, but he will be different from the last, he wasn't supportive and John has already decided a menu plan that we can do when I have to be on bedrest, and who will be with me when he has to work, if it comes to that, LOL, he is sweet, but I am still scared and am trying to do everything I can before I amke this jump, I have lost 15 pounds so far, so now down to 160, which is way lower than I was with Shelby, and I am taking vitamins every day now, although not with the extra folic acid will ask about that, thanks everyone and i will keep you posted
