Ovarian Twitching and Ovulation?

So the last few days I'm noticing left sided twitching in my abdominals. It feels like little mini baby kicks. It happens on and off. I'm on a fertility website to track my menstrual cycle. According to that site, I am entering my fertile days. I decided to google ovulation and twitching and I saw some boards with women talking about ovulation and twitching. Some women experience twitching during ovulation.

Have any of you heard of this?

It's not pain, and it's not gas since it's at the same spot.

Although I've experienced "mittelschmerz" I haven't experienced twitching.

I did have a twitchy/tingly feeling sometimes, but mostly just a short jabbing pain for a minute or two, right in the area of my ovary. But it sounds like you are off to a good start!

I've had this weird feeling many, many times. When I was doing IUI's with the RE, they even told me to pay attention to this and if it was bothersome, I could take Tylenol. Good luck.

It's very odd. I have no pain or discomfort whatsoever. It just feels like a baby is kicking on my left...a very young baby. It may even be like fluttering. That's my best description of it. Very odd.

I have twitching when ovulating. Most days it will happen on my right side and some days happens on my left. It doesnt hurt so much but its like someone poking at you with a pen or something. However it really hurts when i suddenly get up from my seat and i find it difficult to stand up straight...

Oh wow Laura, your eggs must live on fertile ground! I'm glad some people know what I'm talking about. I feel it on my left the last few days. I started checking my cervical mucus and I know it's suppose to be egg whitey, if I'm ovulating. But it's not like egg white. Maybe I'm just too dehydrated? I'm actually a little confused about the cervical mucus stuff. Maybe I should post a question on that. When I check my cervical mucus, the consistency always seems in between what the ratings are.
