I have had lots of work done on my teeth throughout my life. retainers, braces, bridges put in etc. I take good care of my teeth except for flossing every day. I wonder if because of that I am putting myself at increased risk.

Val, don't kick yourself. I take good care of my teeth and had a good check-up just before I got preeclampsia; I didn't even get the common gum bleeding of pregnancy. I suspect it's the inflammatory response that's the key.

Wow, I really do not take good enough care of my teeth. If that caused my preeclampsia, I'm going to be even more mad at myself :-(
