I was about 27 weeks along with my first pregnancy when I started showing signs of preeclampsia. It started with a rapid weight gain of about 15 pounds in one week, due to the swelling. Hi. I had severe pre ecalmpsia along with HELLP Syndrome that caused me to deliver our baby boy at 27 weeks. I had been vomitting one night and called my husband to come home from work because I was getting sick. March 2005 I delivered a beautiful baby girl 7lbs 1 1/2 oz. 4 days postpartum: I was feeling very anxious, had a horrible nursing experience that day and my BPs were elevating quickly.
