My name is Nikki Blackwood and I am ready to share my story.

It began on September 20^th, 2006 when I found out that I was pregnant. The next day, I miscarried. Fast forward to November of 2006, a month later. I was pregnant again and we were beyond thrilled.

My pregnancy was pretty normal. I had the normal scares that I may miscarry, but all was going well. My morning sickness was pretty extreme, I lost 10 lbs in the first trimester. But I was gaining sufficiently afterwards and things seemed to be working.
