Hi everyone, My name is Brandi and my daughter's name is Madison. I would like to share my story with you all. I found out that I was pregnant in July of 2006. The pregnancy was going good, and then I went in for my checkup and I was about 36 weeks and my bp was high. So my doctor wanted to monitor me for an hour to see if there was any changes but the bp was still high. My doctor said to me,we need to induce you. I was induced at 1 o'clock pm on March 1st and I had a healthy baby girl at 12:45am on March 2nd. She weighed 7lb 8oz and 19 1/2 inches long. Then around 3:00 I got up to use the bathroom, then I got really lightheaded and told the nurse that I feel like I'm going to pass out. The next thing I knew, there were nurses all over the place and my doctor. I asked what happen to me, my doctor told me I had three seizures and the only thing I could do was cry and the only thing I said was I don't want to die. I was in the hospital for 6 days. When my daughter was 4 months old, I got pregnant and I was really scared and then I lost the baby when I was about 1 month along that was the worst thing I had to go through. My daughter is 14 months old now and my boyfriend and I want another baby, but I'm not sure if we should, I just dont want the same thing to happen to me agian with the preeclampsia. So if you guys could give me some feedback on what I should do. Thanks ! |
