|Just got home from the hospital. On Thursday night, my wife and I were at the grocery store. She was 37 weeks pregnant. On a whim she took a blood pressure test on the machine at the store. The pharmacy is nearby. Our pharmasist, Don, saw my wife's result. His face turned ashen and he said "you must go to the ER." We told him she had a doctor's appointment the next morning, so we would just wait until then. He looked at use very seriously and said, "no, you must go now." I am so grateful to him. We went to the hospital and they immediately diagnosed preclampsia (I had never heard of it before). She had a C-section the next day. My wife is still in the hospital, trying to get her BP under control. My son, Dante, is in level 2 care, but they think he will be okay. We are just thanking our lucky stars we stopped by the pharmacy Thursday night, and for our wonderful pharmasist. What an experience!|
