My daughter was having very bad and unusual symptoms her last 2 weeks of her first pregnancy. She was 19 years old. She had all symptoms of acute fatty liver of pregnancy. She went to the ER twice and was sent to labor and delivery then sent home within these two weeks. She went to her last doctor's appointment and they did nothing. This was on the Tuesday before she lost her full term son Saturday. The doctor on call knew something was wrong during delivery. Which at this time my daughter knew her son had passed. She was yellow and kept passing out. The doctor ordered tests and her liver was shutting down and so was her kidneys. We almost lost her too. She was in the ICU for a few days. I was wondering if anyone in Arkansas has experienced this rare but horrible condition. The doctors in the clinic she was going to said they have never experienced this condition. We live in Hot Springs, AR. |
