| My pregnancy was perfect I never had any complications I went to my OB often for sono,s so they could get a better estamitated due date. All through my pregnancy I noticed that my feet were always very swallow. At about 30 weeks I was noticing swelling of my face and hands, I asked my doctor about this and they said the swelling was normal so I was not concerned about it. At 39 weeks after a long day at work my water broke while watching a movie, at this point I was so nervous I was shaking uncontrollably. About 3 hours later my husband and I got to the hospital I was admitted at midnight and I was 2 cm dilated but I was not having contractions. My protein in my urine was high and my pressure was slightly high. The doctor explained he may need to put me on magnesium and I had to rest on my left side. An hour later they started some plot seeing that my water broke and I was not contracting. As soon as they started the plot I started feeling my contractions and after two hours I wanted my epidural. So they came in and gave me my epidural and told me to try and get some sleep. Well that did not happen The epidural helped but I was still feeling contractions and they were getting stronger. Well the doctor came in to check me and I was 10 cm and ready push. With the help of my husband and his sister Logan was born in a half hour. Wow I had such a great birth and the day to follow was great too, although late in the afternoon 12 hours after birth my pressure was high again, this time it was too high. They told me I had to be put on the magnesium right away or I might have a stroke or my brain might swell. Well this made me very nervous also considering that I felt great. My sister in law Gloria my # 1 support through this all, thought they were wrong the cure for pre ecclesia is birth and I had given birth 12 hours ago. Well 45 min. later they started the mag. Which made me feel like SHIT I also felt like I was disappointing my baby becase I was so out of it. The next day after the mag. was stopped my pressure was still high. They wanted to keep me another day and they put a on pressure medication to lower my pressure, I really wanted to go home so I begged they agreed to let me go if my presser had two good readings after I was put on blood pressure medication. Thank god I had two good readings so I was released but had to go in to the office for follow up. I went in Monday my pressure was/90 which they said was ok. They are still monitoring me but I am so happy to be home. I will probably be on the blood pressure meds for a while longer . I am just so happy to be home with Logan and on my way to a full recovery. I feel great. |
