|I like many others had pre-eclampsia. I was a very healthy person with normal blood pressure. I also showed signs that my doctor had over looked, what she called weight gain wasnt it was in fact my body filling up with fluids. I also started getting the headaches which come from elevated blood pressure but they were tolerable so I never took it as a sign of any thing. At 27 weeks I went to the hospital where they took my blood pressure and it was 210/180 they freaked when they got that reading and all they keep saying was I should have been having a stroke. I also had proteins in my urine. They put me on some muscle relaxers to calm my body down. I was there for two day and had my son his weight was 5lbs 3ozs. He was shipped out to other hospital because he wasnt breathing when he was born, caused from the muscle relaxers they were giving me. I stayed in the hospital for 3 more days and lied to get released, with having my blood pressure so high I had very blurring vision and really could make out objects, I wanted to see my new baby which I only seen for 1 minute before he was shipped 25 miles to the other hospital.|
