My orginal due date for my first child was Dec 12, 2000. It was late Sunday evening, October 22, that I first noticed that my baby was not moving. My experience with HELLP syndrome(pre-eclampsia).On June 25, 2002 I lost my baby girl Natalie Grace Knippling because of HELLP syndrome. I was 26 weeks pregnant. The week and a half before I lost my daughter I was put on bed rest for high blood pressure and swelling in my hands and feet. My experience with eclampsia has left me scared about being pregnant. I delivered my 1st baby at 34 weeks, she was 3 pounds 14 ounces and 18 inches long. Update: 08/15/2002Since submitting my first story I have since had another baby and now another story or addition.I was told by my general practitioner that there was nothing to worry about with having another child. In fact she helped me get pregnant the second time. I still don't know why it was hard to get pregnant, I got pregnant the first time on the first try. I was pregnant with my first child at the age of 21. Everything was going great until my 36th week of pregnancy. I began my 3rd pregnancy at the age of 35 with chronichypertension. The pregnancy was fairly uneventful till the 33 week. I was put on bedrest due to highblood pressure and protein in my at +3. I became pregnant with my first son when I was 18 and newly married, delivering a couple months after my 19th birthday. My experience with preeclampsia was the most severe case called HELLP Syndrome. I was 32 weeks pregnant when I just started not feeling right. I hurt all over especially in my upper stomach and stayed up crying for two nights. Finally I called the labor and delivery and they insisted I come in to get checked out.
