The Vision Grant Award Program

According to the World Health Organization, preeclampsia is one of the least funded areas of research, especially when considered against Disability Adjusted Life Years (DALYs). The Preeclampsia Foundation’s Vision Grant Program fund medical research pertaining to the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.

The Preeclampsia Foundation, through the generous support of our donors, corporate partnerships, and community events such as The Promise Walk for Preeclampsia, has supported more than $550,000 in research since its founding in 2000. Successful projects have, in turn, garnered additional research support from major funding organizations, earned scientific merit at important meetings, and inspired young investigators to commit their life’s work to this complex field of study.
