Re: Feel Like I'm on a Roller Coaster

So glad your ultrasound came back with such good news and that baby looks good! :) I hope you recover quickly from the pneumonia and as I mentioned previously, bug your doctors if you start to feel worse. You and your baby are worth it- and it's what they're being paid for, right? Keep us posted! Bl...

Re: New Member

I feel like words are a little inadequate here. There aren't any that can express how sorry I am you lost your son. I wish you and your family nothing but the best as you heal physically and emotionally from this pregnancy. ((hugs))

Blessings,
Mary

Re: Feel Like I'm on a Roller Coaster

I'm glad to see you made the decision to go back and get checked! I went through something similar a few weeks ago, so I really wanted to respond and encourage you to take your symptoms seriously. I am not ordinarily a very assertive person, but in this case you have to be- ask for a second opinion,...

Re: New Here :)

Just wanted to post one final update for those that have been following myself and baby since the beginning- and it's mostly good news. :D I never made it to my appointment on Friday; after my husband went to sleep around midnight Thursday I realized I was having intense pressure and contractions ev...

Re: New Here :)

We were in touch with triage again last night because I was having nausea and feeling a little off balance- and when we took my blood pressure at home it was 150/107. The nurse in triage actually said that my blood pressure wasn't that high ( :!: ) and that they wouldn't take action unless i...

Diastolic vs. Systolic Pressure

Does anyone know the difference between diastolic and systolic pressures? I've noticed in the last few days that my systolic pressure goes from normal to hypertensive and back again, but my diastolic has stayed consistently high (between 95-110). Just curious as to what that number means, and how co...

Re: New Here :)

Thanks for the reply! To be very honest, my husband wasn't very happy with their approach and neither was I. I am not someone that likes needless inductions, but with our son being full term I'd rather err on the side of caution. I woke up with a mild headache this morning and all my pressures, with...

Re: pregnancy and bp monitoring

Anny, My doctor has been monitoring it at my bi-weekly and weekly visits (along with protein in my urine) since the beginning, but to make myself feel better I started monitoring at home once I reached my second trimester. It's not something I obsessed about, just something I'd do every once in a wh...

Re: Oklahoma?!?!

Hi, I am from Oklahoma City and coordinated the first Promise Walk.... Would any of you be interested in helping with next year's walk? It really has been a healing for me as I feel I am doing something good in Em and Connor's memory. I could use help with next year's planning for sure... my number...

New Here :)

Hi all! I just registered and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Mary, and I live in Oklahoma with my husband and two daughters (ages 3 and 1). My eighteen month old daughter's birth was an emergency induction at 38 weeks because of the sudden onset of preeclampsia. I had a migraine that just wo...
