Re : Stupid labile pressures - looking forjustification

Yeah, they seem to forgo the 24-hour in favor of the spot urine creatinine ratio. It was fine a few weeks ago when I got the +2, then the subsequent weeks have been ok. I never seem to get both diastolic and systolic high at the same time. Thank you both for your replies!

Re : Stupid labile pressures - looking forjustification

<t>The way my high risk group works is you see a variety of people, so I don't have one particular dr. I saw a midwife today ... she was concerned, but I got the impression nothing would change unless the preeclampsia tests showed something. She said to come in to labor and delivery -- they've ALL b...

Stupid labile pressures - looking forjustification

<t>So ... a number of weeks ago, I posted b/c of seeming to creep back in to PIH range. I was showing numbers of about 140/88 or 138/90 in the office ... had a +2 protein. But as it turns out, the labs all came back normal. <br/> <br/> Then the next week, I was back down to something like 128/80, an...

Re : Delivery at 36 weeks

<t>My son was born at 36 weeks. He had failed an NST and was born blue, but his Apgar rose from 2 to 9 by the second one. He was small at 4 lbs, 11 oz., and has stayed small. <br/> <br/> After that, smooth sailing. He spent some time in the NICU while I was on magnesium, but then was fine after that...

Re : Concerned a little about ob appt.

Meh ... don't have a dr's interpretation on it yet, but protein was at 36 and should have been less than 12. Don't know how that extrapolates, though creatine seemed normal.

Definitely going to pack my bag this week!

Re : Concerned a little about ob appt.

Something that tests creatinine too? It was still just a sample, but something they sent to the lab. They said that they could use it to guesstimate what a 24 hour catch would be. Or that + the blood tests, not sure.

Concerned a little about ob appt.

<t>So, protein is at +2. They are following up with another spot urine test, and blood tests. <br/> <br/> BP, initially 138/88. Later in the appt. (after I had been sitting a while), 128/88. So that is a little better. <br/> <br/> MFM just wouldn't believe I don't have gestational diabetes with a 96...

Very different second pregnancy

<t>So, I guess you never know what your kids are going to do. Can't make predictions. <br/> <br/> My first has never been an ounce over 5th percentile in his life and was born at 4lbs 11 oz. at 36 weeks. He was a PIH baby and I had low amniotic fluid. He was delivered early when he failed a nst. <br...
