Re: Still seeing stars more than a year later
Since you haven't seen an eye doc since the hospital, I'd make an appt with one now so they can check your eyes out again and hopefully give you the "all clear" again and maybe that will help.

Keep us updated! You're doing such an amazing thing. Like Laney said, it's very early to get preeclampsia, but not completely unheard of. Thinking of you!

Re: Still seeing stars more than a year later
Hi Kathleen. Sorry you're still having vision issues :/ FWIW, I just wanted to tell you about mine during pregnancy and afterwards. During the worst of it in pregnancy, I was seeing sparkles/glitter/stars, little silver crawling things, black blobs, holes, etc., and finally, these big bright fat whi...

Re: Pls help need reassurance
I also just wanted to say that I feel for you Mama!! I know it's so scary <3 <3 Did you have any visual disturbances with your first baby? If so, are they similar?! My first two times with PE I didn't really have any but with my 3rd, I had nightmarish visual disturbances and then with my fourth, the...

Hi Anny4. So to me, it sounds like a migraine possibly.... Was the red and blue light small or like a ribbon?! You saying pain in one eye sounds like my migraines and those can go along with stress also. Can you describe the "light" you're seeing?! Are you having a headache?! Are you doing good othe...

Re: Considering #3 after 2 severe PE pregnancies. Am I INSAN
I don't think you're insane or stupid :) I am a four time preeclampsia survivor with three NICU stays. I was told after my first time that I would most likely never get it again. I then had another baby and got it again. I then was told that it was MUCH milder the 2nd time so I probably wouldn't dev...

Re: Lost my sister. Lost without my sister.
I am so so sorry that you've lost your sister. You're right, we don't expect to still lose mothers to child birth in 2012. It just doesn't seem right. The Preeclampsia Foundation holds a " Promise Walk for Preeclampsia" in cities across America every May to raise awareness and to raise money so we c...

Hi Lisa!! So so verrry sorry you're dealing with these symptoms!!! I had preeclampsia with my first two babies. I was a very sick puppy with my first and very mild with my second. With my THIRD however, I had a nightmare of a ride with that pregnancy for months!!! Mannnny of the same symptoms you're...
