Re : High risk OB vs MFM??
<t>I would request to see an MFM. My OB had a partner who had a special interest in high-risk obstetrics, but I scared the pants off of him and he suggested that I have the MFM deliver me. My regular OB, however, felt she could handle it herself and almost delivered me at 29 weeks. I demanded to hav...

Re : Hi again ... and sad day (Essure) (UPDATE)
<t>Hi, Sush -<br/> <br/> So good to hear from you. I'm glad you're all doing well. I can sympathize with you. I had my tubes tied during my c-section 2 and a half weeks ago, and I have not stopped crying about it. Looking back, I now realize the MFM was trying to talk me out of it, but I was determi...

Re : 1st day back to work
<t>Sorry you had to return to work. I will be going back, too, although I don't know the date yet. I am hoping to stay out as long as possible. I used a lot of my FMLA due to bedrest, so I will run out before I go back, but I am applying for an extended leave of absence. Sorry about the breastfeedin...

Re : TTC w/ MTHFR Homozygous C677T
My sister and I also have MTHFR along with two other blood clotting issues. We were both put on baby aspirin, folic acid, and lovenox shots when we were pregnant. The treatments helped us both have successful pregnancies. Good luck!

Re : First med adjustment *Updated*
<t>Sounds like you have a good doctor. My meds were changed/increased SEVERAL times during my pregnancy. I did have a small baby, but he is now growing like a weed! My first pregnancy was more IUGR than my second, and in the first pregnancy I did not have any bp med adjustments. Best of luck to you!...

Re : 1st Month Survival
<t>Hi, Katie - <br/> <br/> So good to hear from you! I am sorry to hear about the breastfeeding issues and the possibility of PPD. I have to formula feed because I switched bp meds right after birth to try to get the bp under control. I am going to talk to my doctor about getting screened for PPD. I...
