Re: How often are you checking your bp?
Im a nervous wreck so ive been tracking mine since day one about 3x a day and recording them. That often probably isn't necessary but it makes me feel better.

Re: Questions For The Veterans
Have you done a 24 hour urine or asked your ob to run some labs on you? I would definitely voice your concerns with your ob and ask for some additional testing if you are concerned.

Re: Can heat raise your blood pressure???
I would say maybe too. Last weekend was pretty hot in our area, and my bps were on the high side and I was a little swollen and headachy. The nurse at my peri said it was probably the heat and overdoing it because my bps went down when I stayed inside and cool and rested.

Has anyone here ever gone into labor naturally ?
I will be 38 weeks tomorrow and no signs of PE. :) I have made it farther than I have ever been, and it's a little scary. My peri does not plan to induce me if he does not need to and wants me to go into labor naturally....what makes me nervous is I have only been induced....I have no idea what to e...

38 Weeks tomorrow and no PE so far. :)
So far so good! The labeletol is working to keep my bps beautiful. No swelling, trace protein, hyperreflexia is easing up, Faith is doing good on the monitor. I was seeing my peri twice weekly but he backed me off to once a week because I am doing well. He does not plan to induce me this time and wa...

Ive never gotten this far before. Faith is doing good on the monitor but I was starting to show some contractions. She has dro...

Re: 35 Weeks. Creeping BPs and hyperreflexia
I'm okay. They checked me out, no protien, labs came back fine, etc....but I still have this hyperreflexia. My peri does not want to do anything about it at this point because I am not showing any other symptoms. At first the midwife who was seeing me thought it was anxiety. I told her absolutely no...

Re: 35 Weeks. Creeping BPs and hyperreflexia
Thanks Blythe. I did have it when I was induced with Emily and for weeks and weeks postpartum after Emily was born. I had it again postpartum with Isabelle, but my peri said it was due to swelling, he put me on lasix, swelling went away and the hyperreflexia dissapeared and never came back. I'm keep...
