Re : Vent re: frustrating mixed messages

<t>Well... my BP's dropped to the 100/50 range by the time I got to the hospital, so I was - once again - the crazy paranoid hypochondriac pregnant woman, for the 2nd time in a week. They even asked that I take my bp machine into the doctor's office so I can have it calibrated... again... like they ...

Re : Generic Lovenox

<t>We're talking about Heparin at week 36 (2 1/2 more weeks) although the way things have been going this week, I really don't think I'm going to make it that far. Waiting for my husband to pick me up and take me to L&D triage as we speak. <br/> <br/> I'm happy to have made it this far, and I do...

Re : Vent re: frustrating mixed messages

<t>And now my bp is 149/115, have a raging headache and pain under my right rib cage. And of course, DH drove me to work (for my last day here) because I'm paranoid about passing out in the car. And the dr. wants me to head to the hospital. So I'm waiting for my dear sweet directionally challenged h...

Generic Lovenox

<r>So... I got my most recent refill of Lovenox from my mail-order prescription company yesterday & it was different. So I called the pharmacy and they confirmed that it was a generic version of Lovenox that was just approved by the FDA 2 weeks ago.<br/> <br/> Now I'm seeing an article that the ...

Vent re: frustrating mixed messages

<t>At my bi-weekly NST appointment last Friday, I talked to Dr. W who gave me this big pep talk about how great things are going, how fantastic it is that my BP is typically low instead of high and the spikes have been few and far between, and how we have nothing to worry about right now.<br/> <br/>...

Re : Steroid shots

I asked my doc about taking the beta this time & he said no unless there were an indication that early delivery was emminent. Also, they will only give the shots up to 34 weeks. After that, babe is on it's own.

Re : Emails

I got the nurse's email when she sent me my 3-hour GTT info, but she rarely checks her email. The office perfers phone calls, especially if you have concerns.

Re : Anybody use theClearblue Fertility Monitor?

We used it for about 4 months and never got a peak reading. I have PCOS, so I'm sure that had something to do with it. However, even when I had my HcG injection, it didn't read a peak. Personally, I think charting your BBT is more reliable.

Welcome & Good luck!

Re : 33 weeks - Trip to L&D and pulled from work

<t>Luckily, my husband works from home so I don't have to worry about being home alone very often.<br/> <br/> The doctor didn't have any real explination for the fainting except that my bp was really low in L&D. They think maybe it had spiked when I got up to use the restroom & then dropped ...
