Re: Typical Treatments in the 3rd Tri.

Your schedule is quite similar to what mine was. At 32 weeks, I started ultrasounds every two weeks just because I had PE so early. They had planned to do BPPs at week 38 but I went into labor at 37 and 4, so I didn't ever have to do BPPs. Sounds like your on your way. Hope you're feeling well. NSTs...

Re: New and need reassurance regarding my vision

Third times is a charm, that is how many times I have tried to post. Hi Yolanda! Happy to hear you and your little one are well, sorry you had to go through pre-eclampsia and HELLP *. Your story sounds so familiar to me. I had a very similar experience. First, I will reassure you that your vision wi...

Re: Suggestions for how to keep pre-e at bay

I started taking LDA when I was ttc. My MFM said to do so. There is a theory that it helps with implantation. I think exercise is great and a good stress buster. I also fired my original obs and got a much better group the second time around. So, it sounds like you are prepared.

Re: Baby Blues

Holly, this same sort of sadness happened to me starting at about 35 weeks. I cried a lot and spent time thinking about the loss of my Fritzy. I think it's normal to feel like you do. I think when you see your little girl for the first time it will wash some of the sadness away. And you may see your...

Re: Suggestions for how to keep pre-e at bay

My suggestion is to review symptoms and get a good bp cuff. Take your bp twice daily, morning and evening. If you see any upward spikes, report it to your docs.Have you done a 24 hour urine collection? If not, request one to find out your baseline protein. Try to stay calm and rest as much as you ar...

Re: Change of Plans !!

Holly all I have to say is: Dang, that is exciting!! Just a few days and you will have that little girl in your arms. It's great to hear your bp cooperated and your pregnancy has been boring. Isn't it nice to be able to enjoy it?
