Re: Milestones?

The not working thing is a big one for me too. I don't really work, work. But I babysit twins that are 2 yrs old. We had originally planned to have them gone from November 1st until after New Years, but adding an extra 4 weeks to that would be really hard. Especially at Christmas. I'm really trying ...

Re: 15 weeks, BP still going up.. :(

With my last pregnancy, I didn't get any labetalol until I was induced, even though my pressures hit 160/100ish. They nursed me through on bedrest, instead. But that was also pretty late in the pregnancy. This time, I was put on meds the day I went to the hospital with arm pain, since my pressures ...

Re: Milestones?

Not sure how many more milestones we are going to hit. My BP went a little nuts earlier this week, and my doctor put me in the hospital Thursday morning for a 24 hour urine and observation. My BP readings went down to normal while I was resting quietly in the hospital, and my 24 hour urine came back...

Re: Milestones?

bmoremama, yay! holly, I know, it's kind of surreal to think that a woman who gave me such a wonderful loving man for a husband could be so manipulative. Good luck to us both!! I hope that your 22 week ultrasound shows a big healthy baby! Please let us know!

Re: Dealing with ignorance

I do put things on Facebook because our friends and family are very spread out and it is a lot easier to put something on Facebook once than text or call 50 people and tell it 50 times. The downside to that convenience is that you get some unsolicited opinions. But I agree that if there is one woman...

Re: Milestones?

Oh, I totally forgot! Made it to my 13 yr old's first home football game this afternoon! He sacked the quarterback!!! My hands and feet swelled some because it is still hot here in Texas, but it was so awesome! Next milestone is next Tuesday. I should be having my final ultrasound and visit with my ...

Re: Dealing with ignorance

My problem is that they think you are over-exaggerating no matter what you say. I don't have the same friends, or even the same husband as I did 13 years ago when I actually almost died to have a baby. So, when I say that, they look at me like "oh yeah, ok." I want to say "Oh yeah, because high risk...

Re: Milestones?

Yeah, I would like for my boundary this time to be for her to come to the hospital after I am out of recovery, or better yet, come to the house after we get home. But she just kind of does whatever she wants. I went into labor 3 days before my scheduled c-section last time, and I was dealing with th...
