Re: Contractions?
I'd guess it's just your body getting ready. If it continues in that pattern for any length of time I'd call, but wouldn't necessarily worry

Re: When did your OB start checking for dialation?
Generally they don't here, unless there's an indication to do so. I was checked with ds to see whether I was suitable for induction so 36+5 but that was it.

Re: At what point did you receive Magnesium?
Not at all with my first delivery, and 30ish hours post delivery for 24 hours due to severely increased hyperreflexia.

Re: third pregnancy PET?
I have heard it referred to as PET...guessing the OP may be from the UK? I think the T is for toxemia.
I never went back for a third try (I had a tubal ligation) so have no experience there to share, sorry.

Re: feeding problems small full-term baby
Slow letdown on a pump doesn't necessarily mean slow letdown on the breast. She could be burning more calories than she is eating if it's taking that long. When ds was small (born 5lb 14oz at 37 weeks and was a month old before he hit 6lbs...even now he's only 55lbs and he turns 10 in a month) I was...

Re: Heartburn
Yep, it's a gravity/relaxed muscles thing. Baby squishes things as they get bigger too which doesn't help. Mine was bad from about 25 weeks. So much so that even with medication I still had to sleep sitting up and it still hurt. It did get better after delivery, but mine has come back in recent year...

Re: feeling off??
It could certainly be the bp meds, what are you taking? Aldomet made me feel terrible for a good week once I started and once I sort of gotten used to that I started Procardia which made me feel gross for a while again.

Re: Problems producing milk from magnesium
I have heard that about mag. too. However I wasn't put on mag until 8 hours after delivery (33wks) and started pumping the following day whilst still on it. Within 24 hours I was producing 20mls at a session. I went home after 8 days and only brought milk into the hospital for her once after that as...

My Story (under My History) error

Re : RPD (Renal Pelvic Dialation) Question??
<t>My dd had this noted at the 18wk scan. They scheduled for a repeat at 32 weeks, but everything went haywire long before then, and it wasn't an issue in later scans. I had them biweekly and I can't remember when it had gone but it was before deilvery at 33 weeks.<br/> <br/> If it doesn't resolve p...
