Re : Decels on NST
<t>I've been getting NSTs and mine will decel from an average of 140s down to the 110s occasionally too. It scared me as well, thinking that it was obviosuly too low but my doctors are also ok with it. From my understanding, it's like Caryn said, it depends on how quickly baby goes back to the norm....

Beth,
I just sent another, it will come from julie.feller@preeclampsia.org. If you haven't received it, can you email me at the address to make sure I've got your correct one?
Thanks!

Oh Kristin, you're SO close!
Does your doctor know about the headache and the "soapy" urine? If not, please call immediately. If I rememeber correctly, foamy/bubbly urine can be a sign of significantly increased proteinuria.

<r>Laurie,<br/> <br/> Welcome to you, I'm sorry for the issues you're having. But, I am really glad to know that your midwife has transferred you, realizing that you need more high-risk care. Is the doctor that you'll be seeing a high-risk OB? If in your shoes, I would absolutely not wait until next...

Re : Tubal
<t>I just signed the papers for one at my appt a few weeks back. Both my OB and peri told me that the only side effect was - no pregnancy. If I wasn't getting a C-section, I'd probably push Dh to do it, but I figure it'll be easier this way. My OB told me that the recovery should be no different.</t>

Gwyn,
Do your docs know about those high (147/104) readings at home, even after inactivity?
I'm sorry that it's staying high, I do hope they're able to buy you some more time.

Re : Less than perfect OB appointment already at 15w5d
<t>Susannah,<br/> <br/> I'm sorry to hear that you're having bp issues already, but like Trish said - this may be chronic hypertension. Not that that is a great thing but, like she also said, you still have a great chance of making it to term. Women with chronic hypertension stand a 25% chance of de...
