Re : We Are Home!

<t>Lynne,<br/> The problem with my eyes isn't retinopathy, although I did have that and had laser surgery back in 2001. My eye problems are actually a hereditary thing. My mom had a partial retina detachment that had to be repaired. I'm having the same issues, mainly hemorrhages that clot then detac...

Re : Mag Sulfate question

<t>I just have to add my experience.<br/> They always gave me a "bolus" first. That first hit made me so hot they had to bring fans in, later I got cold though. Everything was fuzzy. I remember the Dr. coming in trying to talk to me and I could hear him and understood him but couldn't respond. My DH...

Re : Postpartum hemorrhage

I did after my 5th baby but I also had a placental abruption with her. I had to have a transfusion. I didn't have it again with my 6th and never had it with my others.

Re : Preemies are good things that come in small pkg's

We have a beanie bear that is bigger than Ivy was. Usually we tell people, she was an inch longer than a Barbie doll.

I made one of those dolls for my 28 weeker. I need to make one for Ivy.

Re : How to get rid of panicky feeling w/o meds?

<t>Something that helps me, since I have a really hard time relaxing, is to get myself involved in something. When I feel an anxiety attack coming on, I begin crocheting. I focus on just that, on how much I can get done, on how fast I can do it and eventually, the anxiety feeling lifts. My sister sw...
