I can't handle this much longer

<t>I have burned out. The other day, I almost screamed at the nurse taking care of Ivy and had to control myself. I spend so much time driving back and forth that I am missing out on my other kids, throwing money away (in fuel) and spending way too much time thinking. <br/> <br/> We have been there ...

Re : Info my MFM mentioned-does this sound right?

<t>Well... I was in one of those studies with my second baby. I think I totally threw them off.<br/> <br/> Based upon the questions I was asked in the study, it all depended on a lot of other factors. First, I have 2 autoimmune disorders. Diabetes and hyperthyroidism (although I wasn't diagnosed wit...

Re : Am I over-reacting?

<t>My pressure went down after delivery but 3 weeks later they skyrocketed again. Luckily, I was able to just stop by the perinatologist and he put me back on BP meds. They always took my pressures with me just sitting in a chair and said that was the most accurate way to do it. They said if it went...

Re : frustrated

<t>I can so relate to how you feel. We have been at the NICU for 65 days now. I've seen 11 babies go home and those were just the ones in the same pod as us. People who I was due with (in March) are now having their babies and even the ones that are early are going home now.<br/> It seems there are ...

eye hostages

<t>Long story short... Ivy won't be coming home anytime soon, despite taking full feeds, gaining weight, doing everything she's supposed to. She's still on oxygen and they won't send her home on O2 because her eyes aren't mature. She also has Stage 1 ROP in both eyes. So the maturation and the ROP a...

Re : potty training... :-(

<t>Well, I must either be a genius, or just lazy. Hehehe<br/> With my first, I chased her around constantly trying to get her potty trained. She was 2 and everyone told me to start at 2. I got so frustrated that I quit. I still put her on the potty when she would take a bath and occasionally through...

Re : Gabrielle finally did it!

That's so great. Before you know it, she'll be moving all over the place. My kids always did things delayed but it was such a HUGE deal when they finally did it.

BIG update

<t>I thought I'd post here before I try and update my myspace page. Who knows if I'll get to it tonight.<br/> <br/> Today I had a Dr. appt with an endocrinologist. I felt like after 8 years of battling with Dr's about my general health, he actually listened. He looked up my lab results for my thyroi...

Re : Diet for ADD/ADHD

<t>Well, as someone who has ADD/ADHD and a few children with it... if it's there because of genetics, the diet won't help. Both my husband and I have ADD and so far 2 of our kids have been diagnosed with it and strong suspicions that at least one other also has it. <br/> <br/> My advice is to find a...
