<t>I had the same problem on Wednesday. I took my pressure at home, it was 148/93 (I'm chronic so my readings are generally higher). Went to work and then to an afternoon appointment. Nurse indicated that I was 130/90. My BP meds weren't changed as I expected they might be (but that is a different r...

<t>Would you be concerned with the readings that I am getting if it were you? Maybe that is a question for some of the chronic ladies.<br/> <br/> My concerns are 2 fold.....What is it doing to the placenta (I believe I read the high readings makes the placenta deteriorate quicker...is that right?)? ...

Very frustrated....and long.....UPDATE at bottom!

<t>For those that haven't seen my previous posts, I have been diagnosed chronic since my HBP started well before 20 weeks (it will be 20 weeks tomorrow). I was put on 30 mg of Procardia (I take the generic though) which was upped to 60 mg after 2 weeks of no difference in my readings.<br/> <br/> I w...

Re : Just curious....

Re : Chronic hypertension in first pregnancy

I have a sodium question. I know that sodium doesn't affect the BP if it is pre-e. Do I have to worry about it being diagnosed chronic? I have been anal about reading the labels as I wasn't sure.
