Re : Been a while

Sounds like you have a great plan in place. I hope you get that "perfect" pregnancy.

Re : Is 32 weeks early to develop preeclampsia?

<t>Yes, 32 weeks is on the earlier side, but the fact that you were able to stay pregnant for another 5 weeks is great. I was delivered as I was being diagnosed at 32 weeks. Meeting with MFM is a great idea. They will be able to go over everything, test for underlying conditions and help you come up...

Re : Preeclampsia and hypothyroidism

<t>Welcome the boards! Yes, I was diagnosed with a thyroid condition after having pre-e. I have Hashimoto's, so I had the thyroid issue for a while before it was diagnosed. It's not that uncommon for women to experience thyroid issue post-pregnancy. Pregnancy can put a lot of stress on the thyroid. ...

Re : Pre E Again?

<t>Hi Marialynn,<br/> <br/> Welcome to the boards. I'm glad to hear your son is doing well after such a scary experience. Have you talk with your OB about TTC again? A great place to start is with a preconception consult with a MFM (high risk OB) group. They can test you for underlying conditions an...

Re : Feeling Confused...

I can relate. I have 3 beautiful kids after dealing with infertility (and pre-e!) for the past 7 years and I'd love another, but I know it's not possible. You are not being greedy....the heart wants what the heart wants. I'm sorry. ((((((((HUGS))))))))

Re : This cycle is making me INSANE!

Hi Angie,

No advice regarding temps b/c I have a luteal phase defect, so my temps were always off, but I wanted to wish you luck next cycle. Question- will your OB monitor you while on Clomid (u/s to check on number of mature follicles?).

Re : On the low side of normal platelet count

Hi and welcome to the boards. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your son. You might want to try posting something on the Ask the Experienced board. There are lots of ladies there that have dealt with low platelets.

Re : worried

<t>Hi and welcome to the board! I'm sorry for your scary experience, but glad to hear you both had a positive outcome. Your fears are very normal. Having a preconception consult is a great idea. I had one after my experience with pre-e and I felt much better after it. Please let us know if you have ...

Re : Fertility treatment after PE

<t>Yes, I went through infertility treatments after experiencing pre-e (I did IVF for both pregnancies). I met with my RE to go over what happened with my 1st pregnancy, but I also talked with my OB and met with MFM. I had a twin pregnancy the 1st time and everyone agreed that a singleton would be t...

Re : Light spotting (update)

Keeping everything crossed for you! I had lots of bleeding with my first pregnancy and I spotted for every day for 8 weeks with my 2nd (week 5-13). It's scary, but can be very normal.
