Re: Pregnant with number 3! elated and terrified!

Thank you so much for your replies.. They actually made me feel much better. I am just going to try to eat as healthily as I can and take care of my body. Worrying about it won't be of any use now!! :D

Pregnant with number 3! elated and terrified!

Well I am a little over 6 weeks pregnant with my third munchkin. My first was born at 28 weeks due to very severe preeclampsia (and is now 3 and absolutely perfect in every way!) She was only a little over 1 lb when she was born and spent 3 months in the NICU. When she was born and I had extremely h...

How many c-sections

I know it isn't really a pe question but i was wondering how many c-sections people have gone on to have after the first one is a classical. I would like to have another baby but I just get nervous about hemmoraging as well as the risk of pe.

Re : Heading towards Pre E? Newbie!

<t>I have heard it said that pre e starts with small fluctuations in BP's.. Then again, there are cases such as mine that present themselves within an hour or so.. It all depends. I would get a BP machine so you can take your bp at home. If nothing else it will give you peace of mind. I had this dur...

Re : Anyone with babies who developed Hemangiomas?

My 28 weeker had a hemangioma right near her eye that we just got removed through a second surgery. It was a deep hemangioma and very substantial. We have another surgery coming up in September to fix her muscle up.

Re : how were you treated during your third pregnancy

<t>Lovenox, I believe, is a blood thinner. I think it is stronger than just using baby aspirin. they usually use it if your body has some sort of underlying clotting disorder that could affect the pregnancy. I am just so scared to do it. I can't help thinking about it because i always wanted a big f...

Keloid scarring

Has anyone had keloid scarring after their c- sections. My doc. has cleaned out my scarring from my first section, but the second scarred almost the same amount. Will this affect a third c-section should i choose to have one? Has anyone had any experience with this?

Re : Has anyone had real success with a 2nd pregnancy?

<t>Sorry it took me so long to reply.. Been a little bit busy with the munchkins ;) Yes. With the second pg. I was on baby aspirin once a day, I had doc. appts. once a week from twenty weeks on, and I had a consult with a peri. who discussed my previous and current case with my NEW high risk OB. I d...
