Re: prenatal chiropractic visits
You may also see if there's a physical therapist in your area experienced with prenatal care. I had PT and chiro for severe SI joint pain (the little joints on each side of your tailbone, where you pelvic bone hooks onto your spine). Between the PT and chiro, they kept me walking until I was on bedr...

Re: Odd Question..
Any chance your irregular periods are due to PCOS or being overweight? That might explain the irregular schedule before your last pregnancy. However - getting your period every month now is a good thing if you're TTC. Are you on folic acid or vitamin B-complex supplements? When I was TTC my son, and...

Re: Older Former Preemie with ADHD-type issues
While my daughter was not a premie, she was IUGR and low birthweight. We had been thinking the last few yrs she was going to be ADHD but when we did the ADHD questionairre, the ped said she didn't have enough criteria and he thought perhaps it was sensory (need for lots of input and movement). Sent ...

Re: Did you know it was happening?
With my first pregnancy, at 20 wks I had vision issues and felt sick, went in and the nurse got me at 140/90 for BP and told me to stop hyperventilating (I wasn't even close to doing that). The dr came in and said I needed to practice calming breaths. I went home and laid on the couch the rest of th...

Re: ? about protein in urine
Sometimes there's some underlying kidney damage that may cause trace amounts even when not pregnant. That's why many PE/PIH moms get baselines done early on in the 2nd pregnancy so they know what you run even when you're healthy.

Re: nausea and vomiting stopping then starting again?
The sudden onset of nausea after feeling better worries me, along with your headaches. If it were me, I'd call the dr and ask to be seen. Some women struggle with their gall bladder during pregnancy as well. How often are you checking your BPs? A few times a day plus when you're feeling off/bad? Hav...

Get checked for iron anemia, its a simple blood test. Adding an iron supplement or eating iron-rich foods like beans, red meat, dark green salad greens are also good sources of iron.

Re: no maternity insurance, advice? *long post*
Are you eligible for Medicaid or thru your state's health insurance plan? Many will cover portions, if not all, of your maternity care. Worth looking into - check with your county's Public Health dept.

Re : what causes pitting adema and when to buy premie
<t>Nothing is for sure yet. You might be better off waiting until baby is born to decide what sizes you need for diapers and clothes. Usually the hospital will have the open box of diapers and wipes under the bassinet that just gets thrown away so you can take those home. If you really want to buy s...

Re : Baby Aidyn Back in hospital - Growing to hate PE
Oh my, with those #s I'd definitely call your dr. Are you on BP meds? There are meds that are safe for nursing mothers. You may also want to do another 24-hr urine and see if you have PP PE.
