Re: Am I crazy?

You're not crazy :) One thing I've learned in my growing up as a mommy - a lot of women who want children just want them no matter what! And a lot of people do think I'm crazy for even considering a second pregnancy after my first was so incredibly unpredictable and ended so traumatically. Of course...

Re: if its only bp?

38 weeks sounds perfect to me! I'm glad your doctor agrees that it may be delivery time, too.
Let us know what happens on Tuesday (as you can)!

Re: New here *waves* 3rd pgcy PE

Welcome! I'm glad you're here, but sorry you've been through all this craziness called PE. Your feelings are so normal! There are so few people that we meet in real life who experience these things to the degree that we have... we feel alone in our suffering. And we feel crazy for suffering when our...

Re: if its only bp?

I would also skip your doc and go to L&D, as it sounds like your doc is not as concerned as you (or we) are. You don't have to have all (or very many) of the PE symptoms to have a potentially problematic situation. You can look fine and feel okay and not really be okay at all and we all know how qui...

Re: dull upper right quadrant pain?

I had that pain for weeks (maybe months) in my twin pregnancy. I also literally had a set of feet or knees in that same spot on every ultrasound, so we never thought much else about it. But from the beginning of that pregnancy, I had horrible heartburn all the time, too. My swelling didn't come on u...

Re: Anyone have natural labor, or induction w/o pain meds?

I'm glad to hear you had a good appt and were given some hope! If nothing else, I think sometimes we just need to hear someone say that we are capable of doing it... that if everything goes according to the way we want it to, we can handle it! A little hope goes a long way toward helping you relax a...

Re: Bloody Nose?

I have never heard about a bloody nose being part of PE - very interesting! I will say, though, that usually at the end of the first trimester, I get a sinus junk that seems to last a few weeks and part of it includes a bloody nose. Just off and on, bothersome, and nothing serious. Did you have your...

Re: Need opinions please

My numbers run very close to yours pre- and post- pregnancy. In my last pregnancy, my OB said that 130/80s was too high for me and we would have to take action of some kind if it reached that point (it never went higher than normal). I would definitely be staying on top of those symptoms and making ...

Re: Should I be concerned?

Hello there and welcome to the PF boards :) I, personally, would be concerned for myself with those symptoms (whether PE related or not). Is the headache affected or relieved by tylenol? That is quite a jump in BP, but what is your baseline - your normal? Also, did you mention all of those concerns ...
