I would be irritated also if a nurse told me that after prior history of PE. Actually I would probably be pretty upset and politely mention something to the doctor about it.

My OB has not given me a number but has told me to call whenever I feel like I needed to. I would probably call if I got a reading over 140/90 but I only peaked into the 150 range a couple of times when I was battling severe PE last May. The PE has its sight set on my kidneys and liver instead.
