Re: Cycles really off.

Short cycles can sometimes be due to a luteal phase defect in cycles. Perhaps your LH is off. I had odd cycles and went to my OB who referred be to my RE.

Re: ROLL CALL!!

How many weeks are you? 31 weeks today Boy or Girl? Boy Briefly tell us your history with PE/PIH/HELLP: It was a normal pregnancy until about 21 or 22 weeks when my BP started to climb. I was admitted and had to deliver our baby boy via Classical C-section at 24+6 due to worsening BP (235/115) and H...

Re: 10 weeks already seeing MFM

Just to let you know, I am on meds including Lovenox and I do not have a blood clotting disorder, or other underlying disorder. Also, I believe that some of the new moms (miamibunnie, frogibe, christina89) are also free of underlying disorders but were placed on meds. I believe frogibe and miamibunn...

Re: Question about low blood pressures

I wouldn't worry, although I was the same way. I had a late second trimester dip myself, and asked a similar question when I was there a few months ago. At some point you will notice a small dip in BP. I think I had mine at 20+ weeks. It freaked me out because other ladies were getting them around w...

Re: A Bitter Vent

I actually saw a youtube video of a woman's pregnancy vlog. She was complaining about how her doctors check her BP every time and her urine every time and basically resigned to believing that they were doing it for the money. I really wanted to defend the providers, but it's not my battle to fight. ...

Re: 10 weeks already seeing MFM

They aren't recommending any medication for you? A lot of us ladies were put on medication in subsequent pregnancies. I think if you stroll around the forums you will see in the signatures what meds they have recommended for us. I am on daily Lovenox injectables, baby aspirin, and folic acid. It see...

Re: Feeling hopeless-hormonal birth control after PE

Here is what I was told: No birth-control that is estrogen-based (estradiol). Most of the hormonal birth controls are estrogen-based. However, there is a small group of birth controls that are progestin-only. It is the estrogen that plays a role in the blood clotting mechanism. Progestin-only is ok ...
