Re: How much of a concern is this?
Darnit, just lost my long reply to you!! Let me summarize - these symptoms are hard because they can be signs of serious sickness - eclampsia, HELLP - or just being pregnant. Bloodwork is the only way to know for sure. PE / HELLP can move really slow, or rarely, within hours. The "hours" cases stick...

Re: Time to TTC
Laura, kbielec just had her baby at 26 weeks http://www.preeclampsia.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=45122 She had a rough time but her baby is in the NICU now. Catherine (search her posts) had a very severe experience with HELLP in her second pregnancy and had a perfectly healthy pregnancy with her ...

I'm glad Julia had a good day
. Fingers crossed for many more of those. I hope you have more good days - and more days in bed if you need them - too.

Re: Protein in Urine at 6 weeks -2nd preg after HELLP
Hello and welcome! I'm glad you found us but sorry you had to! We've had a number of women who have started spilling protein early in subsequent pregnancies. I'm not sure what the most current thinking is, but my understanding is that the docs think you might always spill a little protein from an un...

I'm not sure how many other micropreemie moms we have around currently, but just holler and we can call on older members for you! How are you?? Keep watch on...

Re: Why not 37?!?
How are you today? Have you gotten any more clarification about why not deliver you at 37 weeks - or a second or third opinion? In your shoes I'd talk with your doctor again about your symptoms and concerns and history, and get your doctor to look at that Expert quote that Caryn linked and the HYPIT...

Re: Stressing again - is it warranted?
((hugs)) I'd be more worried for you except that you've got good docs, a therapist :), and you're very aware of your body and your signs and symptoms. What has your doctor said in your specific case for when they would be concerned? I can relate a little on the general unpleasantness of pregnancy. I...

Re: PIH management- is OB being too relaxed?
Laura is right - an MFM consult would be what I would want as well, sorry that suggestion fell out of my head! You can even do a natural birth with an MFM, they are as variable as regular OBs on their comfort level with going "natural". If you haven't already had your baby already... a few more thou...
