Re : bedrest with an older child

Thanks for the ideas. Today was my mom's day off from work, so she got him and kept him for the day. Now I'm going to get him ready for bed and I'll probably be ready for bed, too.

<t>How is (did) your older child handle your bedrest? My DS is 4 years old and I've just started modified activity/bedrest. Normally, I don't spend a lot of time sitting during the day and so far, DS thinks this is his cue to have my undivided attention--reading, etc. He still doesn't 'get it' that ...

Re : What was your BP?

<t>I was put on meds today for the first time this pregnancy. I had at-home readings this morning that bounced from 150/90 to 170/107. In L&D my first reading was 160/96. Lying on my left it came down to 140-something over 80-something. My liver enzymes were good and there was no protein in my u...

Re : 5k- would you?

<t>What are your healthcare provider's guidelines for "modified bedrest?" For my OB/GYN, it meant I could shower and lie back down, then eat dinner and lie back down and go to appointments and lie back down, etc. I didn't have to be completely horizontal, but exercise, housework, etc. were out of th...

Re : How often for liver function and platelet tests?

I've only had my baselines. I don't expect any unless I develop symptoms.
