Re : All day at the dr's office

Five pounds at 33 weeks is pretty impressive! He's going to be a whopper! It would be great if you could make it to 36 weeks. Keep us updated.

My 34 week 3.5 pounder hits 9.5 lbs!

I took my 34 weeker into the doctor today for her 12 week weight check, and she tipped the scales at a whopping 9lbs 7.5 oz!!! Meredith was IUGR and weighed only 3lbs 8.4 oz at birth. Sorry for the mommy brag, but I HAD to share! [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

Re : Just wondering??

<t>I was diagnosed with PIH at 31 weeks 3 days, put in the hospital for 24 hours, and then released on home bedrest. I was taken captive at the hospital following a routine BPP, diagnosed with PE, and put on hospital bedrest at 33w5d. At 34w2d, my daughter was born via emergency c-section, due to a ...

Re : ALmost 32 weeks and I have a DATE!

<t>Wow...7 weeks of bedrest already. I only had to do 4 weeks, and was nearly going insane by the time that they delivered me! It's good that you are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Bedrest is horrible, despite all the pregnant women who "think" that they'd like to have bedrest p...

Re : high b/p- nothing else

<t>Sandy,<br/> I started out with only elevated BP like you, and wasn't diagnosed with PE until two weeks later. The good news is that 37 weeks is term, so no matter when they decide to do your c-section, your baby is unlikely to have any complications stemming from prematurity. I second everyone's ...

Re : Chronic Hypertension???

You pretty much convinced me of what I was already planning on doing. That is, talking to the peris before attempting another pregnancy. Glad they were so good to you!

Re : Chronic Hypertension???

Melissa,
Thanks. I was just so DONE with my OB. I'm planning on going and talking to your peris. They consulted on my case while I was in the hospital, and I thought they were GREAT! I gather you had a good experience with them, too???

Re : Chronic Hypertension???

<t>Thanks for your thoughts. I just took my BP, and it's 126/78, so not bad at all. Just not quite what it was pre-pregnancy. I was on procardia when I was released from the hospital, and although my BPs actually continued to go up after delivery, my doctor went ahead and released me. This was par f...
