Oh, I'm so sorry to hear you are down for the count! At the same time I'm also thankful to hear you are safe and monitored and hope it will earn baby as much time cooking as possible.
A few things our hospital had which you may ask about- a NICU Family Specialist or Volunteers that organize activities for mommas on extended bed rest. It was really great having someone visit at a scheduled time and bring activities. You may also ask if they have counselors/mental health folks that can stop by and also provide some strategies for making it through the days.
Does the hospital have wi-fi so that you can maybe Skype with family and kids? If they don't, it might be worth investing in a wi-fi device or borrowing from family/friends while there.
We were only inpatient for a week, but a good friend who spent over 6 weeks inpatient said what was most beneficial for her was creating a schedule and lil' mini goals (like shower before X), read x chapters today. She also made her room feel as much like home as possible- got her own pretty sheets... pictures for the room, her own blankets etc.
Thinking of you!!
