My protein did go up and down. And I'm way jealous of those pressures. I'm on 3 BP meds (and not pregnant) and I don't get anywhere near BP's like that. Good for you. :)

You are right - your pressures are BEAUTIFUL! I hope that they DO stay that way!

Also, depending on what your protein level was before your pregnancy the 300 'cutoff' may not even be right, for you. As far as it going down it would be unlikely unless there was any possibility that maybe there was urine missing from the collection. Proteinuria can be improved sometimes by bedrest - I know that mine was.

I'll.give an example: when not pregnant my baseline is 500 so 300 isn't even right - nor eas the 1600 that I got to right before I delivered. How about requesting another be done in a month? That way, if its the same then you would know you are a stable number.

I hope you feel better today. How are your blood pressures?

hey there! Well when was 20 weeks my baseline 24 hour urine was around 200, so my base was just high, perhaps it is the same with you. Just take it easy and keep an eye on everything so you know if things go down hill. Good Luck, and remember your not at the 300 mark yet and you can stay at the same for weeks!

Help, nervous

Postby diego de jesus » Wed Feb 07, 638312 5:35 am

Hi girls, as I told you all the other day I did a 24 hr and the results came back at 216. I am starting to get nervous and my OB said that its one of the first signs of a possible PE. My pressures are behaving pretty good 9/6 and 10/6. Is there a posibility that protein can go down? Have any of you experienced it? by the way I am 25 weeks by LMP and 26 by US.
Thanks:)
