Congrats!! Can't wait until you get to meet your little one face to face!
Re : 38w 5d appointment
I had a vaginal before after a 3 day induction, but I was on my last push, as if I didn't get her out they were going to have to do an emergency C-section because her heart rate was dropping too much. I'm hoping this induction goes a little quicker & smoother!!!

Congrats in advance! Can't wait to hear all about Lily's arrival.
Re : 38w 5d appointment
That's great! Did you have a vaginal the first time, or is this a VBAC?

I'm shocked that I'm still pregnant! I'm pretty sure everyone in my OB's office is too.
I went in this morning for a cervical check. Last week, I was there twice & they stripped my membranes. I was supposed to go into the hospital for an induction tomorrow evening. Since my cervical checks last week put me "boarderline" as far as having a favorable cervix, they had me come back today for another check.
The results... 3 cm. dilated & 60% effaced! Lily is still pretty high up, but my fluid level is pretty high (but not too high) so as soon as my water breaks, she should come down.
So... instead of going in tomorrow night for cervical ripening, I go in early Wednesday morning so they can break my water. Hopefully that'll put me into active labor. If not, they'll start Pitocin. Either way, we should have a baby in about 48 hours (or less if I go into labor on my own)!
