Sorry you haven't been feeling 100%.

I have migraines periodically and the pain can raise my blood pressure. I'm not a doc but when you mentioned sensitivity to light and noise I thought of a migraine. You can get sinus/pain pressure along with a migraine too. I hope you feel better soon! (and definitely call the doc if you have any concerns, that is what they are there for!)

Well the bp went back down today and is back into the 120/60's range...so maybe just the stress of the headache was all it took to get the spike. I still have this headache but my kids at school are complaining too and I think it may be a cold or allergies (sinus stuff BOO!. I have a doctors appointment next Thursday so if I still am getting headaches I will be letting them know. Thanks for listening ladies. I swear I am going to go crazy here!

Oh dear, keep us posted Jennifer. Hopefully a slight adjustment is all you need. It sucks that we can never take these little symptoms for granted. Hugs!

Thanks ladies. I am going to see what they are later tonight after resting a bit. If still high I will call. I am only 13 weeks but I know they said due to me being chronic hypertensive they may need to up my meds during the pregnancy. I was hoping to see a 2nd trimester dip soon.

Yeah definitely call the doctor to be on the safe side. Considering what you have gone through, they should have not a problem.

When in doubt, always call the doctor. They won't think you're crazy and it will reassure you if they tell you it's nothing.

BP and headaches

Postby frogibe » Wed Feb 08, 639240 1:25 pm

Hi ladies,

I don't want to fit the mold of the crazy lady that calls the doctors office at every ache or pain, but I have had a headache for 2 days now and it will not go away. I am light sensitive and I am misrable at work due to the fact I have 25 very loud 1st graders that keep me from getting any relief. My blood pressure was great yesterday it ran in the 117/60 range. Today I am all of the sudden running 130's/ 70's. Should I be calling my doctor? Or I was thinking maybe take a day off tomorrow and get some rest and see if that helps. Any input would be great ladies.
