Hi Ladies!

I am currently 26 weeks 3 days pregnant and am thankful for each day, praying for more.

I had severe preeclampsia with both my sons, Landen was born at 36 weeks and Kellan was born at 33 weeks. Kellan required about a month of NICU care, he is know a healthy 22 month old and for that I am very fortunate. Being pregnant again was a surprise but from the moment I found out I have been literally terrified. So far my blood pressure has been nice and low, 160/20's average. I have been seeing a specialist who has me on a low dose asprin, vitamin D, calcium, and a pre natal vitamin. On Friday he noticed that I gained EIGHT pounds in two weeks. Although it could be holiday weight, my doctor thinks it could be an early sign of preeclampsia which is a devastating thought. I am a first grade teacher and will be on a modified bed rest starting in two weeks (when I'm 28 weeks). He thinks that resting will help keep my blood pressure at bay.

I'm so glad I found this website, I wish I had it for my sons' pregnancies.. I'll be checking in :)

Hi I'm Nicole!

11 wks 2 days pregnant with my second baby. I had my first, my son Remington at 24 wks 6 days.

This pregnancy I am taking a daily baby aspirin, doing a daily Lovenox injection (started at 4 weeks) taking Neevo prenatal and extra vitamin d. I also take 300 mg of Labatelol twice daily because I was diagnosed as chronic hypertensive after I had my son. I also have been seeing my amazing mfm since conception and have ultrasounds every time. Right now I see him every 4 weeks, I will see him every two weeks starting at 18 weeks, once a weeks after 28 weeks and then twice weekly starting at 30 weeks. Well, that is the plan right now anyways... I take and record my blood pressure three times a day at home. It ranges from 100's/60's to 120's/70's but has crept up as high as 130's/80's but drops right away if I relax for a little while.

I have had two ultrasounds and baby is measuring ahead by about a week. Which is good since Remi was growth restricted. I feel really good. I'm of course scared. But trying to stay calm and optimistic. :)

How far along: 10 weeks today

Doing anything different this pregnancy?: Taking Low dose aspirin once a day.

How are you feeling?: Today okay. Somedays extremely bloated.

Due 8/04/12

This pregnancy suffering SEVERE bloating and constipation. Only time I had cramping was after taking Milk of Magnesia so that is good. Had an ultrasound at 9 weeks and 4 days and everything is measureing perfect. Heart rate is 165. Lots of fluid around baby since I drink as much water as I can get down during the day. I see the specialist on 01/23/2012 to keep track of everything.
Mother to Joseph Lovelace Touchet Jr born on 5/11/11 at 22 weeks due to Preeclampsia and HELLP. Born straight into God's arms. Love you my angel.

I had my first ultrasound. I love the new doctor I have here. She seems to know so much about PE and HTN. We're looking at a scheduled induction at 39 weeks if BP stays stable, otherwise we will be playing it by ear. Due date is 7/21.

danielsmom - I could really relate - I am so much less paranoid this second pregnancy as well! I think the more relaxed attitude will help us. I also have been taking all the baths I want, having a coffee a day, even treated myself to one small sushi roll at a really reputable restaurant in NYC. Basically just trying to relax and enjoy myself. I am also showing a lot earlier this time and I too find it encouraging since the first baby was so small. Best of luck to everyone!

How far along: 17 weeks 1 day

Doing anything different this pregnancy?: Took Prometrium (progesterone) on day 14 of cycle to help with implantation due to possible luteal phase defect. Started baby aspirin and TL Guard Rx (prescription folic acid/B complex) before conception and Lovenox at 6 weeks with visual heartbeat. Also focusing on drinking lots of water and consuming a rounded diet, specifically calcium and vitamin D since 16 weeks. And I'm going easier on myself. I was crazy neurotic the first time around, taking every known pregnancy precaution too far (no sex, no caffeine, no foods that really only need to be limited, no warm baths, no trail rides on my older proven trusted horse), therefore removing all of my stress relief when I needed it the most. I'm trying to be more realistic in my risk management.

How are you feeling?: Generally, pretty good. BP is good, as it was at this gestation with my son. This is the only pregnancy that I've never experienced any spotting. Also, I know this is common with 2nd pregnancies, but I'm really showing more. My husband and I think I'm looking the same at 17 weeks as I did at 27 weeks with my son, which at the very least can be a good sign considering how growth restricted he was. I'm very anxiously awaiting the next growth scan, but trying to keep a positive head. I'm probably more impatient than I am anxious. I know the next 2-3 weeks can reveal a lot. Also, it is comforting to know who the enemy is this time (pre-e & HELLP), and to know that we're monitoring it and doing everything we can to avoid it. The unknowns drove me crazy last time.

Im currently 27w 1 day.

Im on baby asprin since first prego test, folic acid, prenatals, calcium. Im seen my a reg ob who works in the hospital with my mfm hes very knowledgable so as long as I have no pre e symtoms im staying with him if I do show any he will send me to the mfm. I monitor my bloodpressure morning and night its rose a little but nothing higher than 132/ 78 otherwise im just trying to relax with this baby.

I feel good except the baby dropped which is pretty uncomfortable but no swelling or headaches which im thankful for, had my son at 26 weeks on the dot so im hoping to make it alot further this time!!!

How far along: 33 weeks 4 days

Doing anything different this pregnancy?: Started taking lovenox around 7 weeks and started baby aspirin started prior to conception. Monitoring blood pressure daily and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Also seeing a perinatologist and a high risk ob since early in the first trimester.

How are you feeling?: Really huge, but pretty good. My blood pressure has been around 120/70 since 30 weeks before it was lower than that (can't complain) and I have had no signs of protein in urine at all. Baby is head down, which is good just in case I do get a chance to vbac. Baby is growing beautifully and he has stayed around the 40th percentile. Getting nervous about birthing this child within the next month or so and praying that PreE doesn't show up again!

I'm Melissa Lennox

How far along: I am 26 weeks and 3 days

Doing anything different this pregnancy?: I have been seeing a MFM since 10 weeks, and his delivering doctor, we are getting an ultrasound every 3 weeks and getting my b/p checked once a week by a nurse, and 24 hour urines every 4 weeks. I am only on baby asprin right now.

How are you feeling?: I have good and bad days, my b/p has been hanging out in the 140's/90's some days are allot higher but my protine levels are fine. and baby is growing fine.
I just cant wait for this to be done with!
