Re: at least my dr is a positive thinker
No, no twins. I made them look twice as I was terrified. I don't think that I can handle two babies at once plus work, school, housework, and my other two kids. But I really like my new seats. I have the same one that I have for my 2year old. Its the first years true fit. The black and green one. It is really pretty and so comfy for my daughter she stopped protesting the long car trips and just went to sleep. Hope the good dr. didn't jinx me with his positive thoughts.

When you said car SEATS, at first I thought WHAT?! She's having twins? How did I miss that?! LOL...
Anyway, I hope you have lots more weeks of pregnancy ahead of you. 28 weeks is a nice milestone, 32 is just around the corner.
I held off on getting a car seat for awhile because I wanted a certain one that was just for 5 lb babies and up (my son was 4 lb 4 oz coming home). Finally I just broke down and ordered it, and mentioned that to my OB last week. He wasn't planning to measure that appt, but he did because I was curious! She came out 5 lb and 1 oz and the car seat arrived that afternoon. It's meant to be! It's amazing how happy we are about car seats.

Ooooh that's a rockin' car seat- big step getting something for baby. I should actually try out our infant seat in our car... just to check out how the two will fit.
Our new Debbie Downer MFM just gave us a 5% chance of making it to 37 weeks... I'm very much looking forward to being in that 5%!! So we're looking at closer to July 10th-ish. Bummed to not see past 37 weeks since this is our last, but as long as we're both healthy, I'll take it... it will be our first born in the month they are due- that would be so cool!

Oh how funny we do have the same due date. My last appointment is scheduled for july 26th. Even if I make it full term I expect a baby before then as I am a repeat section. And it is going to be such a hot summer in texas. But I am very excited about my new car seats. Got one for each car as they are convertable. Will last me to 65lbs.

Gotta love a doctor that sees the glass half full! I just went to a new MFM who was such a Debbie Downer- my reframe is that I look forward to proving all her stats wrong!
Best of luck on a happy and healthy (hopefully) 12, and at least 8 more weeks!

That is kind of funny
But if yours is anything like mine, you have to schedule pretty far out or be worked in!
Even if you only have another 8 weeks in you, that will be good! I hope you do

at least my dr is a positive thinker
He just had me set up the rest of my appointments through the end of my pregnancy. I recently started on bp meds which mainly control my pressures but I already have a little protein in urine and some swelling. I'm nt sure I have another 12 weeks left in me but we will see. Glad to know he is an optomist. We will see. But in other news I did get brave enough to order the new car seats for the baby today.
