Brilliant, and awesome and although I'm a bit late-I *am* going to spend the day swapping the word smurf for a verb. The girls in the office will looove that!

Edited to add: The things acheived and dreamed of on behalf of Shelley amaze me. She must have been a heck of a person. Congratulations on raising such a daughter!

This is the most unique thing I've heard of in a while to honor someone's life - what better way to do so than by celebrating life and making a better life for themselves and others.

Remembering Shelly

Postby shellysmomdad » Tue Jan 27, 2009 02:55 am

In honor/memory of our daughter Shelly, I wanted to share this with everyone.
Shelly's longtime friend and her sister have started a blog. They have challenged theirselves to do something each week to better their lives. For each week they fail to accomplish this, a donation is made to the PF in honor of Shelly. They're also encouraging others to make a contribution to the PF.
You can follow their progress at
Thank You.
